Home made chocolate is as easy as 1, 2, 3

Not the most perfect looking, but so very delicious
I made a decision on 1st of January this year to stop eating sugar. There are many reasons for why I did that and amazingly it hasn’t been as horrible as I thought to give it up.
Since I know now much more about what refined sugar does to our bodies, I have been trying to get the kids to eat a bit less of it as well. Oliver likes my raw chocolate/almond balls; Oskar doesn’t eat those, but likes my newest sugar-free treat experiment – home made chocolate.
Home made chocolate is very easy to make – you just need equal quantities of cocoa powder, cocoa butter and something to sweeten it with. I use 150g of each, with agave syrup as the sweetener.*
The cocoa butter needs to be melted first in a bowl on top of boiling water, then you add the powder and the syrup, mix it all up and spoon into soft ice cube trays.
After a few hours in the fridge you can pop them out of the moulds and you have soft chocolatey treats from only 3 simple and natural ingredients!
Of course you need to bear in mind that they don’t taste like commercial milk chocolate - there is no cream and/or milk solids in them… and there are also no emulsifiers, no E numbers, no artificial flavours, etc. You get the point :)
*All of these ingredients can be bought at any health food shop.

You are too healthy to be true ! It sounds good and I will have to try!
They really are very easy to make, once you find all the ingredients. And if you like the taste of really chocolatey chocolate and aren’t addicted to cheap milk chocolate that doesn’t taste like chocolate at all, then you’ll love these :)
