Tuesday tidbits – birds, beds & change of plans

Oh never mind Angry Birds.  I got stuck at the level where the blocks spell 1982.  If anyone knows how to crack this one, PLEASE come to my house and do it for me.

The boys have slept in the same room for the past two weeks while one of my aunts was visiting.  This arrangement worked very well, Oliver fell asleep very quickly every night and Oskar declared that “I no longer have bad dreams because Une Mati* doesn’t know that I sleep in the other bedroom!”

We are now contemplating moving Mother into the small bedroom (currently Oliver’s room) next to us and dismantling the bunk bed in Oskar’s room so the boys can share a room and be at the same level.

Good idea re the boys, me thinks, but still debating whether having Mother in such close proximity to our bedroom is wise.

We have cancelled our Dubai trip and are going to Australia instead in February.  I’m really looking forward to a warm holiday and being back in Canberra, even though the reason for our visit is that storm – our Papa being sick…  sort of quite seriously….

We’ll be having lots of good quality time and we’ll even get to throw Oskar a nice warm birthday party on the 19th.

Life.

  1. Liam and Xavier love sharing a room, I'll check on them before going to bed and they will be cuddled up together in the same bed. When Lucas is old enough I am going to put him in with his big brothers as well.
