On Friday afternoon we said good-bye to the blue skies of Australia and started the marathon journey back to London.
The boys did really well and I was even able to watch a movie. No wait, I watched THREE movies. Unbelievable, really, I can’t remember the last time that happened.
Now it’s good to be home, but the change in temperature means I just want to be in bed under a few layers, cuddle with the cat and not think about unpacking. Thank G*d for Nana who almost immediately after our arrival took the boys out to ride their scooters and I was able to do just that for over an hour :)
I’m actually looking forward to autumn / winter so I can wear my new boots (got three new pairs already!) and leather jacket, haha.
Welcome back LJB! It sure must feel a little bit cooler over here. A little bit of some old fashioned porridge will warm you up!
